There is information emerging from Machakos County that intimates that Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua is missing and no one knows where he is.

This was revealed in the County Assembly, where Ndalani MCA, Stephen Muthuka, wrote to the Speaker claiming that the Machakos Governor has been missing for the last two weeks.

According to Muthuka, Alfred Mutua has not reported to work for two weeks and no one knows his whereabouts.

Besides, he never put someone in charge while he is away, something the MCA said had affected the smooth running of the County affairs.

He demanded to know if the Machakos Governor was in Kenya or not and who funded his foreign trip if he travelled abroad.

Mutua’s family is yet to say anything about his alleged disappearance.

Alfred Mutua even never attended the Governors’ meeting with President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto, at Sagana State Lodge last week despite his close ties to State House - something that raised many eyebrows.
