President Barack Obama is set to start his trip to Kenya on Thursday evening. Before leaving, he will speak to the press briefly at the North doors of the Palm room at 6.50pm CST.

Earlie at 3.15pm, he will receive the daily Presidential briefing at the Oval Office.

The President will leave the White House on Marine One at 7.05pm enroute to the Joint Base Andrews in Prince George’s County, Maryland where he will board Air Force One.

He is set to depart the Joint Base Andrews military facility at 8.20pm and will head to Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany where he will have a stop over before heading to Nairobi.
