MCA SIAYA
A Siaya County MCA stripped to show his displeasure over a tweet about Kibera residents supposedly posted by deputy president William Ruto. But it has since been confirmed that the tweet originated from a parody account. “Let them go back to the flying toilets, you cannot help a fly that wants to follow a corpse to the grave,” read the tweet. Gem Central ward representative Fred Ouda (pictured) told Ruto to apologise for demeaning residents whom he said were the reason he is the deputy president. The MCA claimed that the remarks that Kibera residents should go back to flying toilets showed a lack of respect. He has threatened to go to court if the deputy president does not apologise within 14 days. “Who tells you that because you are the deputy president you can never go down? We demand apology even if it means tagging along the night runners from Homa Bay County to your compound, we will do it,” he said.
