African is one of the biggest continent in the world with 54 sovereign states, although it is also known as the poorest continent, but some of these states have good economies basing on their Gross Domestic Product ( GDP ) per capita.
Below is the list of the top 10 richest countries in Africa.
(1) Seychelles – $25,229 ( GDP ) per capita:

Namibia was ranked the 9th richest country in Africa because of its production of high quality minerals like diamond which has dominated the economy.
(10) Algeria – $7,500 ( GDP ) per capita:
Algeria was ranked the 10th richest country in Africa because of its largest oil production which makes 70 percent of the country’s total budget. Algeria is also one of the suppliers of mineral resources such as copper, mercury, iron and zinc.
