Anne Kansiime has once again proved that she is a major force to reckon with after she beat South African comedian Trevor Noah and Nigeria’s Basket Mouth to the African Entertainment award of best African comedian.
When she was first nominated, the Ugandan queen of comedy said that she already felt a winner after being put in the same category with Africa’s finest.
‘Now see the honor I woke up to. Just being in a category with these two Guruz is a win for me already. Praise the Lord. It’s a good day for me,‘ she said a few months ago.

Now what seemed a dream has come to pass, the comedienne came out victorious thanks to her growing career and willingness to push her career to greater heights.
Kansiime broke the awesome news to her fans a few hours ago saying,

If you have discipline, drive and determination, nothing is impossible. Who knew Kansiime would come out victorious, her self-belief is undeniable and wherever she goes, she oozes it.
African Entertainment award comes only a few weeks after she scooped the African Oscar and the Rising star awards for Favorite comedian.
