Eye witnesses said that the businessman had hired the room for a whole week and arrived with the woman on Saturday night after he had reportedly agreed to pay her Sh5000 for her services.
Hell broke loose after the man attempted to leave by force at around 6am without paying the agreed upon amount.
The enraged woman then locked him in the room and hid the keys for four hours, vowing not to leave the room or allow him out until he paid her dues as agreed.
It took the intervention of the hotel staff to broker a deal between the two in order for him to be released after he sought help from friends who sent him the money through Mpesa to pay the woman.
