Chinese restaurants in Kenya complain over poor sales after bad press.
Since March when the saga of a Chinese restaurant discriminating blacks after 5pm, has now affected most of the Chinese hotel businesses in Nairobi
According to one guard at Nanchang Restaurant in Westland, lately the restaurant has recorded very low customers turnout as a result of the incident.
He recounts in one night after 9 there were only 8 visitors at the restaurant.
One Ms.Jeniffer Njeri a manager at Ginza Restaurant a Japanese restaraunt also said that as people cannot quite differentiate the difference between Japanese and Chinese they are also getting the same frastrutions too as they are termed by people as one and the same community.
Other clients despite the bad publicity say they will still attend their favourite Chinese restuaraunts
Ms Angeline Mumbo said she could not condemn all Chinese restaurants because of the mistake of one.
