A KDF soldier who had escaped death in Somalia two weeks ago only to be brutally murdered outside his house by a boda boda operator may have been set up by his wife.
Is is reported that Stanley Kipkolomit was killed with a butcher’s knife by Solomon Kipkurui in Kaprokonya village in Baringo County after a night of drinks with friends.

The suspect has since gone into hiding and his phone switched off. The victims family is also accusing the police in apprehending Kipkurui who is well known in the area.

The soldier’s daughter reported hearing her father knock the door and asking her mother to let him in.

William Cherambus, told The Nairobian that, “This person (Kipkurui) secretly took over a long time ago from my brother.
“Kipkurui was spotted sharpening a butcher’s knife two days after my brother’s return, I suspect he used the same knife to kill my brother after he found him in his house and suspected that he was having an affair with his wife,” Cherumbas confirmed.
