Kenyans are into a steaming debate on the morals of their leaders following news about police surprising senior politicians cavorting with prostitutes in Nairobi’s leading red light district.
The matter first hit the limelight last Sunday when the Sunday Nation newspaper reported that a cabinet minister, an assistant minister and an MP were among several people caught in a police sting to rid the city of twilight girls.
Under Kenyan laws prostitution and soliciting for sexual favours from a prostitute are criminal offences.
